Lions Head Arena Renovation Project Update
SEPO Executive members, including Vice President, Udo Nixdorf, observed the Special Council Meeting on Monday, February 5, 2024 via ZOOM. (ZOOM access is now available to all open council meetings by visiting the Municipality's website).

Council met to discuss and to arrive at a decision with respect to the three arena renovation options previously presented by staff.
Access to this material was highlighted in our SEPO Memo #4. Links to these documents are included in this memo. (see below)

Mayor McIver opened the discussion with a profound statement that he believed that the existing arena site is not suitable for any of the three projects presented! He reasoned site characteristics that are lacking drainage, sewage handling, fresh water and parking capacity. Of interest is that these conditions were known at the outset of the planning process!

• The "Confirmation Link" will redirect you to reset the password. Delete the Suggested Password - enter your own. Hint: Use a password that means something to you. You will be notified if your password is weak or strong.
• RECORD your new password in a safe place, however it can always be reset.
• Once done, you will see an onscreen message that says your password has been reset.
